Pöttinger Stroje celebrates 20 years of success in Slovakia
Bánovce nad Bebravou – Pöttinger Stroje, s.r.o., a wholly owned subsidiary of Pöttinger Entsorgungstechnik GmbH, can look back on two decades of success in Slovakian mechanical engineering. At the end of July, this special anniversary was celebrated in style at the Bánovce nad Bebravou site.
20 years of growth and innovation
It all began twenty years ago in one of the production halls at KORD SIPOX: Pöttinger Stroje started manufacturing steel structures with 80 employees. Today, the site is a modern production facility with:
- 150 dedicated employees
- 10,000 m² of production space
- 80 press containers per month
- a state-of-the-art powder coating plant
Celebrations with guests and partners
Pöttinger Stroje invited employees and partners to celebrate its anniversary. After a joint tour of the factory, the focus was on the renovated production halls, the modern powder coating plant and the semi-automated workstations.
Among the guests of honour was Ing. Pavel Mikuška, CEO of KORD SIPOX, who emphasised the importance of Pöttinger for the region:
‘Your company is not only economically successful, but also an important part of our community. You are creating the conditions for a sustainable and happy future for the region.’
Joint celebrations in Malé Chlievany
After the official part, the celebrations continued in Malé Chlievany Nature Park. A varied cultural, sporting and social programme brought together colleagues from Bánovce and Taufkirchen in Austria. The event provided an opportunity to look back on successes and at the same time set new goals.
