The Pöttinger MP 20-1.9 press container has been in use at Wieser+Scherer Zeller Haustechnik GmbH for the compaction of cardboard packaging since 2015 - with great success!
Thanks to the 1:5 compaction, numerous transports could be saved. According to Mr Wieser, the investment has paid for itself within 36 months. There is no more material lying around and the technicians can dispose of the materials by type. This means lower transport costs, lower CO2 emissions and savings on labour costs!
In view of the increasing volumes and costs of commercial waste collection, Wieser+Scherer decided to compact this fraction as well. Satisfied with our product and service, they again chose Pöttinger - this time the MP 10-1.0-2.0 press container for dry commercial residual waste.
This was put into operation in July and is already helping to further increase efficiency.
